Holland's extraordinary network of rivers and canals
offers excellent cruising - the ideal way to see the
very best Holland has to offer.
Here you can moor beside village shops and in the
heart of towns and cities to shop for delicious cheeses,
lovely chinaware or simply savour the local atmosphere.
The joy of a boating holiday on the Dutch waterways
can easily be attributed to the hospitality of the
welcoming people. Friesland Boating was established over
20 years ago and offers you a choice of comfortable and
well appointed boats. All are fully equipped with all
facilities.
Koudum
The starting point of your holiday. The village is
situated on the lake district of the Fluessen and the
Morra, on the border of the Woods of Gaasterland and
IJsselmeer. The landscape which was formed in the Ice
Age gives the countryside a hilly character. In the
areas around Koudum you can find numerous cycle paths
through nature reserves and alongside lakes.
